EZ-PD™ PMG1-B1 USB Type-C™ High-Voltage MCUs
Infineon Technologies EZ-PD™ PMG1-B1 USB Type-C™ High-Voltage MCUs are highly integrated single-port USB-C Power Delivery (PD) solutions with integrated buck-boost controllers. These controllers come with integrated gate drivers for VBUS NFET on the consumer path for sink application, and hardware-controlled protection features on the VBUS. The EZ-PD PMG1-B1 feature 4V to 24V input voltage range with 40V tolerance and 150kHz to 600kHz programmable switching frequency in an integrated PD solution. These microcontrollers support an on-chip 32-bit ARM® Cortex®-M0 processor, 128-KB flash, 16-KB RAM, and 32-KB ROM that leaves most flash available for user application use. Typical applications include cordless power tool chargers, wireless speakers, VR/AR goggles, and portable electronics.
