Mouser-Sponsored Vasser Sullivan Lexus Racing Team Drives for Continued Success in Canada at IMSA Chevrolet Grand Prix

July 5, 2023 - Mouser Electronics, Inc., the New Product Introduction (NPI) leader™ empowering innovation, will be cheering on the Vasser Sullivan Lexus Racing team on July 9, at the Chevrolet Grand Prix at Canadian Tire Motorsport Park in Bowmanville, Ontario.

The Vasser Sullivan Lexus Racing team is coming off a fantastic weekend where they swept the GT class wins in the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship six-hour race at Watkins Glen International. Jack Hawksworth and Ben Barnicoat won their second GTD PRO race of the season. At the same time, Vasser Sullivan teammates Aaron Telitz, Frankie Montecalvo and Parker Thompson were victorious in the GTD category. The double win marks the first time in program history that both Lexus RC F GT3 race cars were victorious in the same race. The team is looking for another double-podium finish in Canada.

The Vasser Sullivan team currently sits in first place in the GTD PRO team standings with 1795 points and in second place in the GTD team standings with 1488 points.

The Canadian Tire Motorsport Park's renowned 3.957 km (2.459 mi.) Grand Prix track opened in 1961 and is Canada's oldest and most revered racing circuit. This high-speed circuit comprises ten turns and several dramatic elevation changes that confront drivers with exciting challenges on every lap.
