Texas Instruments TAD5212 High-Performance Audio DAC
Texas Instruments TAD5212 High-Performance Audio Digital-to-Analog Converter (DAC) has a 2VRMS differential output, 120dB dynamic range stereo channels or 1VRMS single-ended output, 111dB dynamic range quad channels. The TAD5212 supports both differential and single-ended inputs and outputs. The DAC outputs can be configured for either line output or headphone loads. The DAC can drive up to 62.5mW into a 16Ω headphone load. The TAD5212 integrates a low-jitter phase-locked loop (PLL), programable channel gain, digital volume control, a programmable high-pass filter (HPF), programmable EQ and bi-quad filters, low-latency, and ultra-low latency filter modes. It allows for sample rates up to 768kHz for both the DAC and PDM microphone signal chains. The TAD5212 supports an analog input-to-output bypass option and records up to four-channel digital microphones with the PDM interface. Data from analog-in and digital-in can be mixed inside the device as well. The Texas Instruments TAD5212 supports I2S, time-division multiplexing (TDM), or left-justified (LJ) audio formats and can be controlled with I2C or SPI. These integrated high-performance features and a single supply operation make TAD5212 an excellent choice for space-constrained audio applications.Features
