The resistive element comprises a metal oxide film deposited on a ceramic former. TE ROX Series Flameproof Power Metal Oxide Film Resistors' element is protected by a flameproof coating that withstand overload conditions without flame or mechanical damage. The series has rated power range of 0.25W to 9W and an operating temperature range of -55°C to +155°C.
