Silicon Labs CP2102C Single-Chip USB-to-UART Bridges

Silicon Labs CP2102C Single-Chip USB-to-UART Bridges are designed to quickly add USB to applications by eliminating firmware complexity and reducing development time. These highly integrated USB-to-UART bridge controllers provide a simple solution for updating RS-232 designs to USB using a minimum of components and PCB space. The CCP2102C integrates a USB 2.0 full-speed function controller, USB transceiver, oscillator, and Universal Asynchronous Receiver / Transmitter (UART) into compact packages as small as 4mm x 4mm.

The Silicon Labs CP2102C devices facilitate quick USB connectivity with minimal development effort by eliminating the complexity of firmware and driver development. Moreover, the inclusion of a CDC driver further streamlines the integration process, enabling seamless communication between the USB and UART interfaces without requiring custom USB driver installation. Additionally, support for USB-C® ensures compatibility with USB standards, offering a versatile and future-proof solution for users' applications.
