NXP Semiconductors FRDM-MCXW72 MCU Development Board
NXP Semiconductors FRDM-MCXW72 MCU Development Board offers a scalable, flexible platform for rapid prototyping and evaluation of the MCX W72 wireless MCU. This board makes it easy to evaluate the MCX W72's multiprotocol wireless support for BLUETOOTH® Low Energy, Zigbee®, Thread, and Matter, suitable for smart home, building automation, industrial IoT, and smart energy applications. Two NXP Semiconductors FRDM-MCXW72 boards can be used to evaluate the MCX W72 Channel Sounding and ranging feature. The board features an onboard MCU-Link debugger, industry-standard headers for easy access to the MCU I/Os, an accelerometer, a light sensor, and external SPI Flash memory.
The FRDM‑MCXW72 board is supported by Zephyr™ RTOS and the MCUXpresso developer experience, enabling both open‑source and NXP‑provided development workflows.
