Deepwave Digital AIR7201 Artificial Intelligence Radio-Transceiver

Deepwave Digital AIR7201 Artificial Intelligence Radio-Transceiver (AIR-T) is a high-performance Software-Defined Radio (SDR) seamlessly integrated with state-of-the-art processing and deep learning inference hardware. The AIR7201 AIR-T is designed to be an edge-compute inference engine for deep learning algorithms. The incorporation of an embedded Graphics Processing Unit (GPU) enables real-time wideband Digital Signal Processing (DSP) algorithms to be executed in software without requiring specialized Field Programmable Gate Array (FPGA) firmware development. The GPU is optimized for machine learning, enabling the AIR7201 AIR-T to significantly reduce the barrier for engineers to create autonomous signal identification, interference mitigation, and many other machine learning applications. By granting the deep learning algorithm full control over the transceiver system, the AIR7201 AIR-T allows for fully autonomous software-defined and cognitive radio.

The AIR7201 AIR-T is powered by the NVIDIA Jetson TX2 and a Xilinx Artix-7 200T FPGA. Connectivity is provided by 10/100/1000 BASE-T Ethernet, IEEE 802.11a/b/g/n/ac dual-band 2x2 MIMO WLAN, and BLUETOOTH® 4.1. Additional peripherals include HDMI, SATA, SD, and USB. 

The Deepwave Digital AIR7201 Artificial Intelligence Radio-Transceiver is available as a 170.0mm x 170.0mm x 35.0mm board (AIR7201-A) and in a 192.0mm x 182.0mm x 79.0mm aluminum enclosure (AIR7201-B). For convenience, all of the RF ports are brought to the front panel and all computer peripherals connections are brought to the rear panel of the aluminum enclosure.
