Analog Devices Inc. ADL6317-EVALZ Evaluation Board

Analog Devices ADL6317-EVALZ Evaluation Board provides the support circuitry required to operate the ADL6317 in various modes and configurations. The ADL6317 Transmit Variable Gain Amplifier provides an interface from radio frequency digital-to-analog converters (DAC), transceivers, and systems on a chip to power amplifiers. The board requires a single, 5.0V power supply. The onboard balun enables single-ended driving. The ADL6317 operates over a 1.5GHz to 3.0GHz frequency range. RF outputs are available on the board at the RF_OUT SMA connectors, which can drive a load of 50Ω. ADL6317 has two signal path modes, which allow two predefined modes of operation to be controlled by the logic level on TXEN, a real-time external pin with no SPI latency.

Features

  • Full-featured evaluation board for the ADL6317
  • SPI control via SDP-S board
  • 5.0V single-supply operation

Applications

  • 2G/3G/4G/long-term evolution (LTE) in FDD/TDD broadband communication systems
