Advanced Photonix CdS Photocells
Advanced Photonix CdS Photocells are Light-Dependent Resistors (LDRs) with sensitivity in the visible light region. The visible light measurement is designed to sense light from 400nm to 700nm.
The NSL-06S53 is a type 5 CdS photoresistor cell in a flat lens TO-18 package. The NSL-19M51 and NSL-5162 CdS photoresistor cells are on a 2-pin ceramic, and the surface is plastic encapsulated for moisture resistance. The NSL-4960 and NSL-6910 CdS photocells are contained in a TO-8 hermetically sealed package. The NSL-5150 is a CdS photoresistor photocell in a flat lens TO-18 package.
The Advanced Photonix CdS Photocells decrease resistance as the light level increases with efficiency characteristics similar to the human eye. These Light Dependent Resistors (LDR) are available in a wide range of resistance values in a two-leaded plastic-coated ceramic header or hermetically sealed TO metal cans.
