Kinetic Technologies KTD2690 Single Flash LED Driver
Kinetic Technologies KTD2690 Single Flash LED Driver is an ideal power solution for high-power flash LED applications. The KTD2690 is a highly integrated synchronous boost converter and current source that can support up to 1.5A flash and up to 376mA torch current. The device provides a very small total solution for portable applications. It has an I2C interface and a hardware STROBE pin for maximum control flexibility. The integrated current source on/off and current settings in Flash/Torch/IR modes can be programmed by the I2C interface. A selectable input low voltage protection function can prevent a system reset under low battery conditions.The KTD2690 includes protection features such as cycle-by-cycle input current limit protection, output over-voltage protection, LED fault (open or short) protection, flash time-out protection, and thermal shutdown protection.
The Kinetic Technologies KTD2690 Single Flash LED Driver is available in WLCSP-8 and UDFN-10 packages and features a -40°C to +85°C operating temperature range.
