STMicroelectronics 5MP CMOS Image Sensors - Coming Soon
STMicroelectronics 5MP CMOS Image Sensors include feature-rich RGB-NIR and monochrome sensors for consumer and industrial imaging applications. The VB1943/VD1943 sensors capture color and NIR images, while the VB5943/VD5943 sensors support monochrome imaging from the visible region to NIR.
The STMicro sensors combine global and rolling-shutter technologies with extended dynamic range, 3D-stacked BSI pixel technology, and embedded image processing. The 5MP CMOS Image Sensors support full-resolution capture at up to 100fps in global shutter mode and up to 50fps in rolling shutter mode, enabling flexible image acquisition under varied lighting and motion conditions.
The RGB-NIR variants integrate advanced ISP functions for NIR depollution, full-resolution NIR smart upscaling, and Bayer reconstruction, while the monochrome variants support split exposure for spatial HDR operation. The devices are designed for computer vision, low-light imaging, and NIR-assisted applications that require high-speed capture, low dark noise, and programmable control of external illumination.
