MC33903, MC33904, & MC33905 System Basis Chips
NXP Semiconductors MC33903, MC33904, and MC33905 System Basis Chips are second generation SBCs, combining several features and enhancing module design. The MC33903, MC33904, and MC33905 devices work as advanced power management units for an MCU with additional integrated circuits such as sensors and CAN transceivers. These devices have a built-in enhanced high-speed CAN interface (ISO11898-2 and -5) with local and bus failure diagnostics, protection, and fail-safe operation modes. These SBCs may include zero, one, or two LIN 2.1 interfaces with LIN output pin switches. They include up to four wake-up input pins that can also be configured as output drivers for flexibility. The MC33903, MC33904, and MC339053 SBCs implement multiple low-power (LP) modes, with very low-current consumption.
