Avago AFBR-59FxZ Compact 650nm Transceivers have the ability to implement Fast Ethernet (100Mbps) communications over 2.2mm jacketed standard Polymer Optical Fiber (POF). Their innovative bare fiber locking mechanism allows for connection of POF cable with a simple insert and lock system eliminating the need for connectors. This facilitates fast installation and maintenance.
