MPF42791 Battery Pack Fuel Gauges

Monolithic Power Systems (MPS) MPF42791 Battery Pack Fuel Gauges provide complete status information on lithium-ion battery strings up to 16 series cells. These gauges with resistance detection and thermal model determine the internal State-Of Charge (SOC) and State-Of-Health (SOH) for each cell and the full pack. The MPF42791 gauges also determine impedance, remaining runtime, charge time, and instantaneous available power. These battery pack fuel gauges support a 5-Level LED SOC indicator with a push-button trigger and various lithium cell chemistries and cell sizes. The MPF42791 gauges also support up to 400kHz I²C with CRC for robust communication.
