Amphenol FCI ComboStak® & PowerStak® Board-to-Board Connectors
Amphenol FCI ComboStak® and PowerStak® Board-to-Board Connectors provide high signal and current density in a wide range of stack heights with 1mm increments. The ComboStak variant combines existing BergStak® 0.5mm or 0.8mm pitch signal pins with 2mm pitch power blades, while the PowerStak modules are power only. The hybrid and medium power solutions deliver high current carrying capacity (up to 20A per power blade) with a miniaturized shape. Amphenol FCI ComboStak and PowerStak Board-to-Board Connectors feature a reliable four-point contact design, scoop-proof housing, and metal hold-down. The LCP material supports operating temperatures to +125°C. Typical applications include automotive, networking, datacom, and industrial.
The ComboStak® 0.40mm connectors offer a fine-pitch solution for high-density, high-signal-quality, and high-current applications in compact devices. These connectors support an ultra-low 0.80mm stack height and current ratings up to 6A (3A per pin, 6A in, and 6A out). The ComboStak 0.40mm connectors feature 0.80mm stack height and double contact points for enhanced contact stability and a self-alignment feature for easy mating. These connectors operate within the -40°C to 85°C temperature range. Typical applications include mobile phones, e-cigarettes, smart devices, and VR/AR devices.
