VO1263AB/VO1263AAC Photovoltaic MOSFET Driver SSRs

Vishay Semiconductors VO1263AB/VO1263AAC Photovoltaic MOSFET Driver Solid-State Relays (SSRs) consist of two LEDs optically coupled to two photodiode arrays. The photodiode array provides a floating source with adequate voltage and current to drive high-power MOSFET transistors. The Vishay Semiconductors VO1263AB/VO1263AAC optical coupling provides a high I/O isolation voltage. In order to turn the MOSFET off, an external resistance (gate-to-source) is required for gate discharge.

CNY Series High Isolation Voltage Optocouplers

Vishay Semiconductors CNY Series High Isolation Voltage Optocouplers are category IV high voltage isolation optocouplers available in a surface mount package. The high isolation voltage SMD version optocouplers consist of a phototransistor optically coupled to a gallium arsenide infrared-emitting diode in a 4 pin plastic package. The single components are mounted opposite one another, providing a distance between input and output for high safety requirements of >3mm. Vishay Semiconductors CNY Series High Isolation Voltage Optocouplers are ideal for such applications as solar equipment, smart meters, and smart grids.                    

Optically Isolated MOSFET Drivers

Vishay Optically Isolated MOSFET Drivers provide the voltage required to drive the gate of a low-voltage MOSFET. The gate voltage is generated by photovoltaic cells, and no power supply is needed on the output side. This simplifies designs when using low-voltage MOSFETS. The single channel VOM1271T provides 8.4 V output voltage with an input forward current of just 10mA. The dual channel VO1263AACTR provides 14.5V output voltage.
