TDA7802 Digital Input Quad Power Amplifier

STMicroelectronics TDA7802 Digital Input Quad Power Amplifiers feature advanced BCD technology and integrates a full digital-to-analog converter (DAC), digital input for direct connection to I2S (or TDM), and powerful MOSFET output stages. TDA7802 amplifiers offer enhanced sound quality and increased efficiency with a reduction of dissipated output power by up to 50% compared to conventional class AB solutions. These amplifiers play music down to 6V supply voltage, making it compatible with the "start-stop" battery profile recently adopted by some car makers. The integrated DAC allows the performance to reach a 115dB S/N ratio with more than 110dB of dynamic range. These amplifiers also integrate an innovative high-efficiency concept, optimized also for uncorrelated music signals making it ideal for simplifying thermal management in high power sets.
