ST Series I/O Connectors

The Hirose Electric ST Series I/O Connectors were developed as external input/output connectors for portable and mobile devices. The connectors assure reliable electrical and mechanical performance under extreme and unpredictable conditions. The Hirose ST Series I/O Connectors feature a solid locking system for strong mating strength, a 4-keying structure to prevent upside down insertion, and a lot of varieties to support various kinds of connections with peripheral equipment.

ST I/O Interface Connectors

Hirose ST I/O Interface Connectors are designed for use as Input/Output (I/O) connectors on portable information devices such as DSC, PDA, laptop PCs, cellular phones, and more. The ST Series features a unique structure with high strength that resists deformation and helps to prevent improper mating and a 3.0mm height and 0.5mm contact pitch that prevents EMI. A strong locking mechanism assures continuous reliability of the connection in an unpredictable consumer environment. Mated connectors withstand a pull force of 49N max. applied in any direction.

ST Interface Connectors

Hirose Electric ST Interface Connectors feature strong locking mechanism and prevents reversed or angle insertion. These connectors are specifically designed for use as I/O connectors on portable information devices and suits wide cable types. The ST interface connectors offer optimal I/F for small devices and wide variation to support different peripheral devices. Applications include digital still cameras, notebook computers, cellular phones and other portable devices requiring high-reliability small size I/O connection.
