TRDU Battery Failure Detection Sensors

Amphenol SGX Sensortech TRDU Battery Failure Detection Sensors feature a fast <1s response time, low power consumption, and IP6K7 watertight housing. The series is designed for placement in battery enclosures to detect dangerous gases. These sensor solutions enable a battery management system (BMS) to monitor the safe operation of the battery and send an earlier signal during a thermal runaway warning, giving passengers time to safely exit the vehicle. Amphenol SGX Sensortech TRDU Battery Failure Detection Sensors are available in three variants: the BLD1 detects hydrogen gas (H2), the BLD2 detects H2 and carbon monoxide (CO), and the TRDU5 detects H2, CO, ammonia (NH3), pressure, temperature, and humidity levels. These sensors are ideal for industrial and automotive applications.
